21 Sun 9:00 32 & 50 any Andy Stewart & Emily Rosen   Wilson Park, Carboro Grits Tandem Ride: GRITS ride with a 32 mile or a 50 mile route through Alamance, Chatham and Orange counties. The 50 will stop in Saxapahaw and both routes will have an optional ice scream stop 6 miles before the finish. The start is at Wilson Park, Carboro (1 block west of Estes off N Greensboro)
21 Sun 8:30 85 17-19 Kevin Jayes 380-3380 Harris Lake County Park Noch Ein Berg German for "Another hill...(and another...and another...) This ride ties together as many hills as I could find to make a tough loop that combines parts of Wake, Chatham, Lee, and Harnett counties. The distance will challenge your endurance, but the hills will challenge your force development to improve climbing. Few sections are flat. The idea is to work the hills hard, regroup at the top, recover, do it again. A high overall average pace is not the goal, but it won't be a cruise, either. Need to prepare for a mountain century but don't have the time to drive to Hanging Rock? This might be the ride for you. (We'll do the 3-mountain ride later.) Call Kevin if you have questions. RAIN CANCELS RIDE.
After the ride, SWAP MEET: Pull out an old blanket and spread out all of those unwanted bike parts/clothes that are cluttering up your closet. Forget Ebay, let's do it the old-fashioned way. I've got a compact crank, some saddles, etc. in a box. I'm sure you do, too. Let's deal!
28 Sun 8:30 35 13-15 Gregg Gusta 337 5317 Oaky Grove Church, Mial Plantation Rd Raleigh

The church is on a short strip of gravel road that connects Smithfield Rd and Major Slade Rd, Church is not in use, I will be riding to the ride from my home at Riverwood. I am on a blue Bianchi.
