11 Sat 09:30 77 18-19 Tom Sheffield   Blue Jay Point Park Bahama Breeze

A small group of us rode a portion of this route on 1/28, and it reminded me how nice the roads in northern Granville County are for cycling. Unfortunately we didn't get to visit Mt Tirzah, but I'm hoping that a few Road Dogs are also in need of a Long (77m) Slow (~18-19mph) Distance ride and will join me in this Assault on Mt Tirzah. I should mention that there are also a few "rollers" on the way out, as well as during the return trip. This ride will help you prepare for the Frost Bite Century. Any form of precipitation cancels the ride!

25 Sat 09:00 100 or 100k any Barbara Wiedemann   Archer's Lodge Frost Bite Century

Both routes start at Archer's Lodge in northern Johnston and eastern Wake Counties.

(maps: Yahoo MapQuest)
looping towards the towns of Micro and Bailey, then back to Archer's Lodge, and looping again towards Wendell and Zebulon before returning once more to Archer's Lodge.
26 Sun 9:30 ~39   847-8437 Blue Jay Point Park GRITS Tandem Ride:  Claude's Birthday ride. Distant depends on the weather
